When To Wear It
The GeNo-20 model is designed with highly active women in mind. That is not to say that those among you who are just starting out cannot wear this. On the contrary, it might as well be one of the smartest clothing choices you make. This model is suitable for a wide array of sports, be it running, walking, hiking and even skiing and snowboarding. Depending on the temperatures it can be either worn alone or as a layering jacket.
It has a high stand-up collar, with a detachable hood in the back. The hood is adjustable with drawcords and fastens in front with Velcro.
The collar comes with chin guard to prevent chaffing and discomfort when the jacket is fully zipped. Since we are here, the main zipper is highly resistant to water and has a back placket for further protection.
It is a long-sleeve jacket, with Velcro-adjustable cuffs. The storage space is considerable and if you are out and about, a bag will not be necessary. On the outside, there are two hand warmer pockets on the sides, two chest pockets and one sleeve pocket on the left. All of them close with water-resistant zippers. On the inside, there are two zipper pockets as well, one of which has an opening for earphones.
Weather wise, this is a water-resistant jacket, part of the PowerDry Platinum 4000 series. This means that the jacket is considerably resistant to weather, fully windproof and highly breathable. Apart from, that, what’s the most important, is that the jacket quickly dries in case it gets wet.
As for temperatures, this is a jacket for the cooler months. It comes with top-notch heat insulation and it is made of thick materials for better resistance against the cold.
This a hip-length jacket, with a thick and sturdy bottom hem, that helps better insulate the inside. For night runners and when there isn’t much light outside, there are reflectors placed on the body, to keep you safe.
This jacket is made in two layers. The outer layer, also known as the shell, is made of 96% Polyester and 4% Elastane. The polyester used is fleece-like, thick and insulating, while the elastane helps maintain flexibility during movement.
The inner layer is 100% Polyester. The back is fleece, for warmth and softness. The front is mesh fabric, to help with breathability. As such, this jacket is highly breathable and does not overheat.

User Reviews, Feedback & Opinions
One of the online reviews you’ll run into when looking at this jacket is one that raves about both its temperature and weather resistance. Those shopping for a skiing jacket, look no further. It is hard to wet this jacket and it is even more difficult for the cold to get through.
The other reviews are overall positive and focus around the good workmanship and the jacket’s performance in different sports and occasions. Another huge plus in the reviewers’ eyes are the numerous oversized pockets. They are practical and quite helpful, according to them.
Those that criticize it, would recommend to look for a bigger size as the bottom hem is a bit unyielding and might fit too tight.
As for looks, what you see is what you get. A beautiful and classy jacket without overbearing logos or crazy patterns.
Despite not having been around for long, this jacket has earned a reputation for its high quality and excellent performance. You get promised a sturdy and comfortable softshell and that is exactly what you can expect.
